An adjustable clamping device 1 contains a clamping arm 3 which is composed of a laminated clamping part 7 having a clamping jaw 16 and adjusting part 9. The clamping part 7 can be locked to the adjusting part 9 by means of a coupling piece 10 having teeth or spline toothing, which coupling piece can be adjusted in the axial direction between a locking and a releasing position. An actuator 6 ensures fine adjustment, in order to clamp a workpiece, adjusting devices of various types being interchangeable. <IMAGE>
