<p>1. Crate for the storage of containers of different heights, comprising a receptacle having a bottom wall (4), side walls (2-3), and a movable lid (5) together with, inside the volume delimited by the bottom wall and the sides beneath the lid, a partition formed by two sets (9-10) of wires which extend in a plane parallel to the bottom wall and intersect at right angles so as to delimit adjacent compartments (12), each of which is capable of receiving a container of the type consisting of a feeding-bottle (6) placed vertically and supported on the bottom wall (4) of the crate, characterized in that it comprises, on two opposite sides (2-3), tiered guides (15-16) which are so arranged as to correspond in pairs at the same height on said sides and in which projecting transverse lugs (17-18) carried by the movable lid (5) are capable of sliding, and on each side of said lid, metallic fingers (23-24) disposed in the plane of this latter and having relative elasticity in bending motion towards each other so as to make it possible at the end of travel of the lugs (17-18) of the lid within two parallel guides (15 ot 16) in corresponding relation to immobilize the lid in said guides by releasing said fingers in the outward direction.</p> |
