The tennis practice apparatus has been developed for practice purposes, for beginners and advanced tennis players. It is relatively simple in construction and can be easily and rapidly dismantled for transportation. The practice apparatus is provided with an electronic system which makes it possible both to carry out reaction training and to practise ground strokes and special strokes. The balls pass from two ball tubes (see drawing) to the ball release aperture. After release of the ball, it falls perpendicularly to the ground and, depending on the height setting of the apparatus, bounces up from a defined point on the ground, from which it can then be struck. Similarly, with a higher setting of the apparatus, the ball can be played directly from the air or after bouncing up onto a frame strung with racket strings, as a volley, smash or serve. The apparatus can be set to manual or automatic operation. <IMAGE>
