PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging material gripping jig which can suppress a decrease in temperature during forging even when a forging material is a hardly workable material and surely grip the forging material during forging.SOLUTION: In a gripping jig for gripping a columnar forging material, the gripping jig is a forging material gripping jig which has two gripping faces arranged with an angle in a V shape, each gripping face being a face formed by joining the tips of a plurality of projections, and the projection being protrusive with a longitudinal direction of a direction vertical to an intersection of the two gripping faces. Preferably, a concave curved surface is formed in a connection part between respective bases constituting the two gripping faces arranged with an angle in a V shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
