An apparatus for making it easier to convey roofing elements, such as roofing tiles or the like, from the storage place to the laying region on a roof, in particular a pitched roof with ridge, has a horizontal platform which exhibits, on its underside, an approximately centrally arranged receiving means for a ridge beam of the roof structure. In the platform border regions there are arranged downwardly projecting side supports, the free ends of which can be supported on the lath arrangement of the roof structure. Each side support is a profile rod which is articulated such that it can be displaced longitudinally on the platform and can be pivoted about a horizontal axis, as a result of which adaptations to different roof pitches are possible.
