PURPOSE:To seal up a reference pressure chamber simply and properly, by sealing a pipe at a sealing position thereof by resistance welding simultaneously with pressurized deformation thereof using a pair of compressing members. CONSTITUTION:A pair of compressing members 11 and 12 is provided to cause pressurized deformation of a pipe 9 for introducing a reference pressure, which is linked with a reference pressure chamber 7 adapted to apply a reference pressure to a reference side pressure measuring chamber 5 to set a reference pressure, by being grasped at both diameter-ward ends, and is made up as electrodes. The pipe 9 is crushed by pressurized deformation with these compressing members 11 and 12 at a specified position 9a while welded at the sealing position 9a by resistance welding with energization between the compressing members 11 and 12 to seal up. In this manner, the reference pressure chamber 7 is sealed.
