This is achieved in accordance with the invention by two photocells (10, 11) which sense the relative position between the lid (4) and a front side edge of the package (3), signals from the photocells (10, 11) causing lid aligning wheels (8, 9) to take the lid (4) into its correct position above the package before sealing.</p> |
