An interface construction element is provided for a toy construction system having construction elements including one or more function construction elements that each include a connector to electrically connect with another construction element via a corresponding connector. The interface construction element includes a first connector for electrically connecting with a data processing system and receiving a logic command therefrom to control one or more function construction elements, a processing unit that converts the logic command into a control signal, and a second connector for electrically connecting the interface construction element with a connector of at least one function construction element and for outputting the control signal. The first connector receives electrical power from the data processing system to drive the function construction element, the second connector outputs the received power and the interface construction element includes a power control circuit for controlling electrical power output by the interface construction element. |
