A device for fixing cables E on a cable ladder K consists of a clamp 10 which is attached to the cable ladder in such a way that it is removable and comprises a pair of holders 11A, 11B which can be positioned one on each of the side pieces S of the ladder and arranged to engage by means of a hooked part 14 on one long edge of the adjacent ladder side piece and with a locking device 16 to engage across the rung of the ladder 7 on the side of this which is facing away from the hooked part 14. On each holder there is a threaded fixing pin 17 on which one end of one or more clamping bars 12, 13 can be put. The clamping bar or bars 12, 13 press the cables towards the rung of the ladder P and are secured on the fixing pins 19 by means of wing-nuts 18. The holders 11A, 11B are identical and are arranged on the ladder side pieces at opposite sides of the rung of the ladder P. At its ends the clamping bar 12 has slits 12A, 12B the walls of which have corrugations 13A, 13B which fit the thread of the fixing pins 17.
