The wiring penetration or lead-in for vehicles forms a connection channel between a door post on the bodywork side of the vehicle and an end-face on the hinge-side of the vehicle door. One end (10) of the penetration jutting into a corresp. aperture of the door post or vehicle door is movable relative to this aperture when the door is operated. Both the door post or column (1) as well as the vehicle door (3) itself have apertures (6, 7) in them for one of the described wiring penetrations (8) which are in the form of a rigid tubular component tightly joined to the door column (1) by means of moulded locking rings (9) arranged in the vicinity of the end (10) slightly sticking into the column-side aperture (6). ADVANTAGE - Protects against ingress of dirt or water.
