PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing a heating apparatus from being operated to perform heating without water when the heating apparatus does not have sufficient water.SOLUTION: A thermal apparatus includes: a tank for storing water; a heating device for heating water; a circulation path for circulating water between the tank and the heating device; and a control device having a non-volatile memory device. The thermal apparatus can execute a water filling operation for filling water in the circulation path. The control device can store in the non-volatile memory device the fact that water has been drained from the circulation path. When power is turned on, if the fact that water has been drained is stored in the non-volatile memory device, heating of water by using the heating device is prohibited until a water filling operation is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
