PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new snow removal technique capable of clearing snow automatically so as to be accumulated in a snow clearing section set in a part of the periphery of a building in addition to being capable of clearing snow accumulated on a solar panel and a skylight window safely and surely.SOLUTION: In a snow removal device, a lateral pair of traction and return mechanism 3 is provided in left and right ends of a snow clearing target frontage M adjacent to a part of a snow removal object range plane R and facing a snow clearing section C. The lateral pair of traction and return mechanism supports left and right ends of a belt-like snow removal zone 2 having a length capable of being built over the total width in the overall depth of the snow removal object range plane R, a vertical attitude and a prescribed height and having a soft blade at the lower edge and at least one grounding support wheel. The lateral pair of traction and return mechanisms performs snow removal guidance from a waiting attitude in which the snow removal zone 2 is arranged in a deepest position D of the depth of the snow removal object range plane R to a snow clearing attitude facing the snow clearing target frontage M, and performs recovery guidance from the snow clearing attitude to the waiting attitude.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
