A rubberized aspalt seal is prepd. by admixing, heating and melting 30 pts. synthetic rubber (styrene: butadiene= 3:7), 10 pts. hydrocarbon based oil and 50 pts. aspalt; then admixing 10 pts. hard calcium carbonate and small amt. of anti-ageing agent, and homogenizing. The obtd. aspalt seal is useful when above 30≦̸C in summer and under -20 ≦̸C in winter, with no deformation and hardening.
