PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary sterilization device which makes an installation space compact, enables efficient sterilization of containers, and flexibly deals with various kinds of containers.SOLUTION: A rotary sterilization device places a high temperature liquid in contact with container inner surfaces, each of which faces a head space HS, to sterilize containers and includes: a transport unit 2 which transports containers B in a standing state; and a rotary unit 3 which holds upper end parts Bx of the transported containers B and rotates the containers B around a rotation axis C along a transport direction.
