The invention relates to devices for locking doors. This device includes a hook 12 and a clasp 14; the hook 12 itself including a body 30 from which there leave arms 31, 32 defining the seat of the clasp 14; one of these arms has a curved shape acting as an element for retaining the clasp 14; this clasp 14 includes two spurs 26, spaced axially, which define the seat of engagement of the hook 12. The curved retaining arm 32, 33 includes an angular end 34 pointing inwards towards the body 30 of the hook 12. This hook 12 has a rib or web 35 located between the body 30 and the curved arm 32; this rib has a tapered cross-section. The spurs 26 of this clasp 14 have an angular end. Applications: these locking devices may be used on doors of containers, vans or the like. <IMAGE>
