A helmet with a chain strap, the chin strap comprising a first or retaining strap (1) having one end mounted on one side of the helment body and being provided at its other end with a fastening member, and a second or operational strap (2) mounted at one end on the other side of the helmet body and having a free end adapted to be inserted through the fastening member, characterised in that the free end of the operational strap is provided on its inner surface with a first connector means and after passing through the fastening member is double back on itself and secured by engaging the first connector means with a second connector means on the outside surface of the retaining strap (1). |
