The used rubber gloves are first washed both on the outside and the inside, dried, sprinkled with talcum powder and sterilised. Talcum is added to the outside of the gloves under a screen with reduced pressure. The gloves are turned inside out using vacuum and a special device described in the following: it is based on a tube with a conical end, spring loaded and moveable axially in a housing. The tube and the housing are provided with openings which are covered when the tube is in the rest position. The spring is located between the housing and a shoulder on the tube, which is also provided with a travel limiting collar. The suction tube, in one preferred solution, especially when wet rubber gloves are being turned, is connected to a separator vessel which is provided with an insert, for example, a rubber disc. It is possible to arrange the separator vessel around the tube, in which case the tube should have water drain hole and the separator vessel should have a water discharge valve. |
