<p>The invention relates to a procedure and device permitting testing of the fluid tightness of the container (9) by placing the latter in a bath of liquid (2) under a funnel (3) which is connected to a capillary tube (4) in which the liquid (2) is made to circulate. Sensors (50, 51, 52) detect the passage of gas bubbles escaping from the container and this, by measuring the velocity of the bubbles, enables the volume of each bubble to be measured. An advantage of the invention is that the volume of the bubbles is not obtained by a measurement of volume but by detecting the times at which the bubbles pass. The measurement is therefore more accurate. Application to testing the fluid tightness of containers for components, particularly electronic components. <IMAGE></p> |
