The present invention relates to a machine for emptying boxes of fruit by immersion, of the type including an immersion tank (2) filled with water, extended in its top part by an exit channel (3), this machine including, moreover, an accumulator tank (1) communicating with the said immersion tank (2) via pumping means (7, 8), whilst the said exit channel (3) includes extraction means (10). In the embodiment according to the invention, the said accumulator tank (1) is arranged under the exit channel (3), whilst the extraction means (10) consist of two bars of extractor brushes (10) located under the non-submerged top part of the said exit channel (3). <IMAGE>
