Provided is an electronic manual providing system capable of enhancing the convenience for a user who uses an electronic manual, and of achieving familiarization with tasks to be performed in accordance with the manual. An electronic manual providing system 1 is provided with a server 2 having an electronic manual database, a user terminal 3 capable of communicating with the server 2 via a network 4, and a beacon transmitter 5 for transmitting a beacon signal by means of a near field communication system. The user terminal 3 has a beacon reception unit for receiving the beacon signal. Upon receipt of the beacon signal, the user terminal 3 transmits a transmission request including an electronic manual ID to the server 2. Upon receipt of the transmission request, the server 2 transmits at least one electronic manual associated with the electronic manual ID to the user terminal 3.
