These compounds find application as anti-stress agents for the prophylaxis and treatment of functional and vegetative disorders caused by chronic stress and for improving adaptability towards stressor influences. Continuous stresses due to immobilization, conflict situations, traumatic factors, alcohol and addictive materials or their withdrawal act as stressors. In addition, these compounds find use as anti-asthma drugs for the treatment of allergic-induced disorders of the respiratory passages.
