This electrode is applied in medicine for extra-corporal fragmentation of solid concrements in the human body. Its construction allows for quick recovery of the geometric parameters, influencing the quality of the hydrodynamic wave created by its sparkle, by retaining continuous resistance throughout its use. The electrode consists of a mobile electrode body (1) with an elongated working peak (2) and an external thread next to its rear edge (3), through which it is affixed in a sleeve (4), comprising an electro-insulated material. Inside this sleeve is another electro-conductive sleeve (5) fitted concentrically, with an external thread in front, for regulating the focal distance. The left electrode body (7) is connected to the sleeve (5) through frontal ribs (6). A fixating sleeve (8) is fitted concentrically to the sleeve (5) via a thread. All parts of the construction are arranged coaxially.
