The invention relates to a device intended to form a stack of perfectly jogged packaging-box cutouts (D) and then to invert the pile (P). For this purpose, the device comprises four angularly distributed magazines (M1 to M4) which can move on a rotary support (R) as well as four corresponding fixed workstations (S1 to S4). The rotary support (R) performs a 90 DEG "step by step" rotation. In the first station (S1), a pile (P) is formed from cutouts (D) conveyed by a first conveyor belt (T1). In the second station (S2), the pile (P) which, on account of the 90 DEG rotation of the support (R), bears by means of the edges of its cutouts (D) on the magazine (M2), is subjected to its sides being jogged. In the third station (S3) the pile (P), the cutouts (D) of which are once again flat but in an inverted position with respect to that of the first station (S1), bears on a second conveyor belt (T2) for the purpose of extracting this pile from the magazine (M3). Such a piler-turner can be used in a machine for manufacturing packaging boxes, in which cutouts (D), at the output of the printer-cutter, are put into a pile before they are introduced into the folding-gluing device.

|
