1. Axial bearing with asymmetric position compensation, composed of a body with radial slide bearing and segments of axial bearing, it also includes a mounting flange for fixing the body casing inside turbo machine shaft casing, characterised in that the body (2) of the bearing is divided by two fissures (4,7 and 11,12) located on the circumference in two normal planes in relation to the bearing axis and the internal part (9) of the body and the external part (10) of the body adjacent to the flange (1), and ends of fissures (4,7,11,12) are wider in direction parallel to axis, so as to limit at least one pair of bridges (5,8,13,14) situated at the mutually opposite sides of the diameter, whereas bridges (5,13) are displaced in relation to the remaining bridges (8, 14) of the second plane, by half of a 90 degree angle, 45 degrees between the second bridges (5,13) located in the same plane and mutually adjacent.<IMAGE>
