The apparatus detects if the electronic/electric parts, i.e. terminal pin for a plug, or reel shaft, have regular grooves and protrusions, or not. The inferior goods selection apparatus comprises a plurality of grooves (3) equidistantly formed on a circumference of a rotational plate (2); a guide rail (5) for feeding the small-sized parts to the grooves (3); a support (7) formed near the circumference of the rotational plate (2); a spray nozzle (8) formed behind the part inserted into the groove toward the groove (3); a solenoid valve (11) connected with the spray nozzle (8) and a relay switch (9); photo generator (12) and receivor (13) positioned under the rotational plate (12); a passage way (14) for falling inferior goods.
