A drive of compact construction consists of a transmission (2) with a flanged-on driving motor (3) and is used for predeterminable sequences of motion of doors, barriers, closure flaps etc., which have relatively slow and relatively fast sequences of motion. In order to be able to influence the transmission ratio within useful limits while remaining within the framework of a basic concept, the proposal is to provide an output stage (21) which has an eccentricity (23) on a first output shaft part (22) and an external gearwheel (25) which is rotatably mounted on the eccentric output shaft part (22) and meshes in an internal toothing (26) concentric with a second, non-eccentric output shaft part (28), and to arrange an output lever (4) in a rotationally fixed manner on the external gearwheel (25) rotatably mounted on the eccentric output shaft part (22). <IMAGE>
