Heat-resistant isolating material with maximal operating temperature 900 C or more, which is made of the glass fibres containing silicon oxide and calcium lime and/ or magnesia oxide, whilst the fibres contain more than 58 wt. % of silicon oxide with the contents of magnesia oxide less than 10 % wt. and more than 58 + 0.5 (% MgO-10)% of silicon oxide with the contents of magnesia oxide more than 10 wt. %, up to 42 wt. % of calcium lime, up to 31.33 wt. % of magnesia oxide and less than 3.97 wt. % of aluminia oxide.
