PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave radar device that makes it easy to intuitively image wave conditions.SOLUTION: A wave radar device comprises; an echo image generator unit 12 configured to generate an echo image in an image generation area; an analysis area echo image extraction unit 13 configured to extract echo images of analysis areas, which are sub areas of the image generation area, from the echo image generated by the echo image generator unit 12; a computation unit 17 configured to calculate water height at each point in the image generation area based on the analysis area echo images as the echo images of the analysis areas; and an overhead image generator unit configured to generate an overhead image of waves based on the water height calculated by the water height computation unit 17 and to make the overhead image displayed on a display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
