BUILDING CONSTRUCTION METHOD

A novel building construction method wherein a building is formed by field work in which skeletal members suitably combined are fitted and connected unitarily and which is capable of improving a field building construction efficiency and providing excellent building insulating performance and airtightness. The method is characterized in that a skeletal member to be subsequently connected to an already-installed skeletal member is coated in advance at its end structure to be fitted with an airtightening agent which serves also as a lubricating agent, the coated end structure being engaged with the already-installed skeletal member, a frictional resistance which occurs on the skeletal members during this fitting operation being reduced owing to the airtightening agent serving also as a lubricating agent, the formation of insulating and airtight structures by the abutting ends, joint portions and other connected portions of the skeletal members of a completed building being attained.
