This installation comprises: - a console including: . a screen; . a control keyboard; - a prepayment unit; - a microcomputer, intended to process the instructions transmitted by the keyboard and to transmit them in part to the screen and to a printer (15) intended to print the text composed on a printing support, the said microcomputer moreover being intended to manage the whole of the installation and the interaction between it and the user, the composing proper of the text to be printed being managed by software suitable for this purpose, loaded into the memory of the microcomputer, and the entire text to be printed being composed beforehand by the user with the aid of the said software. It includes at least two independent printing supports, both stored in the form of a reel, activation of one excluding activation of the other. <IMAGE>
