Based on the result of the computation, the direction of the airflow is determined by executing the control of an airflow direction louver motor by the human body detecting means 4, and based on these data, subsequently, controls of a compressor operation frequency and an indoor fan motor are executed so that a space to be air-conditioned be within a comfortable sphere. The above-stated operations are executed again and the comfort index is computed. By the repetition of these operations, a comfortable space is produced constantly for a human body.
