PURPOSE:To obtain the radio communication equipment which can easily set a level for free channel decision making and perform accurate channel detection. CONSTITUTION:A free channel registration level and a free channel deletion level are provided as decision levels of radio communication equipments 205 and 206 for free channels, when a scanned channel is lower than the free channel registration level, it is registered as a free channel in EEPROMs 208 and 203 and when the channel is higher than the free channel deletion level, the registered free channel is deleted. When the level is higher than the free channel registration level and lower than the free channel deletion level, the registration and deletion of the channel are reserved.
