The ISDN telephone comprises an "S" interface matching unit for an "S" interfacing of the ISDN; a data matching unit connected to the "S" interface matching unit, for servicing data via a data terminal device; a handset connected to the "S" interface matching unit, for servicing a sound call; a controller connected to the "S" interface matching unit, for controlling the sound communication with the handset and the data communication with the data matching unit and controlling to display the sound and data communication states according to a key input; a key pad unit for inputting a selection key from the controller unit; a display unit for displaying the sound and data communication states; a ROM for storing a program data for controlling the sound and data communication according to the CCITT 1-400 protocol; a RAM for storing the program and data to be processed at the controller; and a decoder for selecting the ROM and RAM by the control signal output from the controller.
