<p>This relates to treatment of high conc. thiocyan containing waste water with oxygen active sludge. This method uses closed aerating tank, in which porous medium is set up. In stead of air, oxygen is injected into the bath and is dissolved in wastewater. The oxygen feeding rate is below 0.5l/min, and the amount of dissolved oxygen is above 20mg/l. This method has an advantage of reducing limit concentration of SCN and the resident time in the aeration bath.</p> |
