The supply air feeder (21) lies in the base of the combustion space (3) between the sidewall (10-13) and the interior (60) of the combustion space. The feeder has several flow apertures (49,50) which are spaced out and/or set at different levels for the supply air. The feeder deflects the supply air into several combustion space areas at different levels using an air channel set normal and spaced from the feeder to spread the incoming air across the wall width parallel to the base plate (8). This distribution channel lies open to the combustion space cover plate (7) so as to be joined via the apertures (49,50) to the interior (60), using hole-allocated regulating valves or regulators coupled to adjusters and a control transducer within the combustion space so as to record temperatures, gases and velocity etc. The bottom edge (33) of the feeder partition (23) facing the base is at specified vertical spacing from and above the base plate or standing surface, and is joined to a relatively vertical support strip placed in and held on the combustion space and/or stove body (2). A base guide plate (24) between the support strips (25,26) extends towards the partition (23) as fitted out with the flow apertures (49,50) at its opposite ends.
