COIL HORIZONTALLY SUPPORTING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: To prevent deformation of internal and external diameter of a band material coil by forming supporting angle of a supporting part of a high temperature band material coil to coil vertical direction from a coil axis within a specific area and supporting the high temperature band material coil. CONSTITUTION: A supporting base 2 is mounted for lifting in a truck 3 of a coil car 1 and also a pair of slanting supporting surfaces 2a is formed in this supporting base 2. A band material coil 9 is horizontally supported by an axial linear supporting part S in this slanting supporting surfaces 2a. Length of the supporting base 2 is larger than a coil width of the band material coil 9. A supporting angleθof a line connecting a supporting point S from a coil axis C relative to vertical center CL of this band material coil 9 is that taken off a slanting angleθ2 from 90 deg. and the supporting angleθis constant if the slanting angleθ2 of the slanting supporting surface 2a is constant. If the supporting angleθis within the range of 35 deg.-55 deg. there is no problem in mounting to a winding out reel.
