Rucksack with vertical strap adjustment system

A rucksack, with a vertical adjustment system for the straps (2, 3), has (a) transverse spaced holding tapes (6) at the back (5) of the rucksack; (b) a fastening tape (10) which is fastened to the joint region (4) of the straps (2, 3) and which can be passed through the channel (8), formed between the back (5) of the rucksack and the holding tapes (6) corresponding to a predetermined position, for fastening the straps (2, 3) in this predetermined position; and (c) a fastening device (11', 11") for fastening the free end of the fastening tape (10) to the joint region (4). Pref. the holding tapes (6) and/or fastening tape (10) consist of woven nylon fabric.
