PURPOSE: To form a gradient roofing having a large height by furnishing an auxiliary unit for roofing which is located between the building structure and a roof unit and enables level-up of the roof unit. CONSTITUTION: When the total width of the roof of a unit building 10 is to be expanded in an amount of two roof units to both sides of a two-side flow roof, the level-up amount of the roof due to expansion is expressed as ax, where (a) is width of one roof unit while (x) is the roof gradient. If h1≈ax where h1 is the height of an auxiliary roofing unit 60, the total roof width can follow the level-up of the roof with an expansion to L1 while the standard roof units 3A, 3B which are the same as of the previous building before expansion of the roof are used with a ridge roof unit 30 and an eave side roof unit 50. A gradient roof of large height can thus be formed while the unit 30 itself and the heights within the restriction imposed from the view of production and transit are used unchangedly.
