U=shaped joint for rectangular and U=shaped profiles of roof ladder

The U-shaped joint (1) is made of metal and connects rectangular and U-shaped profiles (5,6) such that they can move in one direction only, i.e. upwards. Refined steel is pref. used or hardened and zinc-plated steel. The joint is fitted to the connected parts by two bolts or serves either side. There is sufficient free play for the two profiles for their easy folding.
