A ROD CONSTRUCTION

A rod construction is comprising a first and a second tube (7; 4) which at one of the ends of the tubes are mutually connected by means of a connection piece (8). The connection piece has a first and a second projection (13; 6) which form an angle with each other, and fits into the respective openings of the first and the second tube, respectively, whereby the first projection consists of a screw (16) and a nut (13). Thereby the connection piece can be produced as a plastic casted unity, which does not require large costs for manual finishing as welding, acid-washing and cleaning of the thread. The construction is suitable for e.g. underframes for plant tables which by means of the invention can be mounted and adjusted in height quickly and precisely.
