Single cast shot mfr. of multilayer rubber prods. by injection moulding

Injection moulding of rubber material comprising the addn. of unvulcanised rubber into one or more hollow regions provided with an ingot and a heatable mould, is used to prepare a multi-layer body in a single cast shot by adding different rubber materials to the hollow region(s). The outer layer material is added nearest to the ingot opening in order for it to enter the mould first of all and then the material(s) for the inner layer(s) is added behind or after the outer layer material in a sequence corresponding to the layer arrangement.
