MAKING METHOD OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT

The method of manufacturing LCD device comprises the steps of : forming a SiO2 insulating film(3) on the surface of a LCD device cell(1) by sputtering after assembly; forming an ITO or SnO2 transparent electrode film(4) by sputtering after forming the insulating film(3); and attaching a polarizing panel(2) after forming the transparent electrode film(4). The method is designed to prevent mis-operation by ESD phenomenon and the destruction of a switching device such as a TFT.
