PURPOSE: To provide an image carrier driving device and an image forming device provided with the driving device reducing the tooth surface damage and wear of a worm gear due to wear powder by eliminating the coagulated wear powder. CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted so as to be provided with a driving force transmission means 51 transmitting driving force to photoreceptor drums 1BK, 1C, 1M, 1K, worm gears 56Y, 56M, 56C, 56BK constituting the driving force transmission means 51 and a gear box 50 housing worm wheels 56, grease housed in the gear box 50 and supplied to the engagement part of the worm gear 56 with the worm wheel 56 and a ferromagnetic collection member 57 provided in the gear box 50 and collecting the wear powder causing when the worm gears 56Y, 56M, 56C, 56BK and the worm wheels 56 are engagedly rotated. |
