<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for generating an interrupt signal which can set up the interruption-generating conditions for restoring the state of startup from the sleep mode, which saves electric power by stopping the operation of CPU, corresponding to various environmental changes, and easily change the interruption-generating conditions thus set up; and a method of the interruption. SOLUTION: Input signal patterns are created from input signals according to prescribed conditions, and the interrupt signals are generated when the input signal patterns are compared with the prescribed pattern data and the former accords with the latter. The prescribed pattern data, which are compared with the input signals, can be set up or changed through CPU via the bus.</p> |
