The invention relates to a method for producing a customised object, comprising the following method steps: - providing a neutral-coloured prototype of the object; - determining optical properties of the object; - visually depicting the corresponding, coloured prototype; - determining technical properties of the object; - generating a production data set; and - producing the object according to the production data set.
