The film (14) is stretched over a curved guide surface by a pair of guide rollers (16,18). When the film is being moved on to the next frame it is lifted off the fixed curved guide by two movable rollers (23,24). These rollers have stepped flanges on their sides so that they may fit sixteen mm and thirty-five mm film. The rollers are mounted on first ends of two bell-cranks (21,22) with an acute angle bend at their pivot points (19,20). The other ends of the bell-cranks are engaged by cam pins (26) mounted on a rotatable disc (25).
