The sealing profile (3a,3b) round the outside of the plug connector (1) consists of an axially shallow circular corrugation (3) whose end furthest from the free end (1a) of the connector (1) goes over into an acute annular edge (4). This edge ensures the requisite pull force, and comprises a radial circular face projecting above the connector sector (1b). The two valleys (3b) of the corrugation (3) lie on the outside diameter (D1) of the cylindrical sector (1b) and the diameter (D4) of the edge (4) exceeds the corrugation crest (3a) diameter (3). The free connector end (1a) tapers conically and the connector contains a supporting sleeve. The plastics connector can be driven into the free end of the plastics fuel line (2) without prior line narrowing so the corrugated seal (3) lies between connector and line as leak preventer.
