Slurry casting plant for making ceramic goods e.g. basins

The plant has a welded steel frame (60) with several independently usable ceramic slurry casting units (22) each with its own mould compression device. A mould stripping device (24) and mould changing device moves between casting units. The mould changing device runs clear of and parallel to the frame and operates transversely to it. The mould is supplied with slurry, water and air or vacuum by means of tubes from the nearby supporting mould carrier base.
