FIELD: mechanical engineering; heat engines. SUBSTANCE: device to increase combustion efficiency in internal combustion engine has combustion unit 1 and discharge device in form of ozonizer 2 whose outlet is coupled with inlet of combustion unit through mixer 3. Outlets of ozonizer are connected with control unit 4 through power source 5 and with initial material source, for instance, air or oxygen. Outlet of combustion unit 1 is connected with combustion product storage 7, and inlet, with control unit 8. Inlet of mixer 3 is coupled with combusted material source 9, for instance, liquid fuel source. Efficiency of device is ensured by more quick and more complete course of burning processes which increases capacity of mechanisms and devices which burn fuels for their operation and also provides economy and prevents pollution of atmosphere. EFFECT:: increased engine power output, reduced toxicity of exhaust gases, cut down fuel consumption, prevention of fires in fuel system. |
