PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen odors sent out from vaporized electrolytic solution and to prevent the sealing rubber material of an electrolytic capacitor from deteriorating due to vaporized electrolytic solution by a method whereinγ- butyrolactone-containing solvent where salt of calboxylic acid and tertiary amine is dissolved as electrolytic salt is used as electrolytic solution. SOLUTION:γ-butyrolactone-containing solvent where salt of carboxylic acid and tertiary amine of molecular weight 75 to 100g/mol is dissolved as electrolytic salt is used as electrolytic solution. Tertiary amine of 75 to 100g/mol is propyl dimethylamine (molecular weight: 87g/mol) and/or dimethylamine (87g/mol). Carboxylic acid is a compound selected out of ophthalic acid, maleic acid, and benzoic acid. By this setup, an electrolytic solution high in degree of acid dissociation, conductivity, and thermal stability can be obtained. The electrolytic salt content of electrolytic solution is set to 10 to 50% by weight, whereby electrolytic solution can be prevented from decreasing in conductivity.
